About the event
In this free 30 minute listening session, I hope to learn more about the unique experiences and pain points of individuals who are exploring mindfulness and dealing with illness. Together, we will explore questions such as:
How has your medical illness impacted your meditation practice?
How has your meditation practice impacted your medical illness?
Mind-body relationships are complex, and research is ongoing when it comes to risks and benefits of meditation. I would love to hear your answers to any of the following questions that resonate with you:
- What has it been like to rebuild your meditation practice after a period of acute illness?
- What has helped you maintain a mindfulness practice while experiencing chronic illness?
- What has been difficult about building or maintaining your meditation practice when working with illness?
- What, if any, benefits have you seen from your meditation practice?
Your responses will be de-identified for use in books, articles, and efforts to educate others about meditation. Thank you for your participation!
